Welcome to beer page 6, on this page you will find photos of some of the pubs the team like to have a pint in from around the Deal area of Kent. More pubs will be added in the months to come.
Hare And Hounds at Northbourne
Tony the Hare & Hounds Landlord

The Hare & Hounds at Northbourne is another very good country pub that serves a great range of real ales and home cooked foods. It was also the first pub in the area to go totally no smoking. Northbourne is well signposted from both Deal and Sandwich from the A258.

The Plough at Ripple
Alax and Amanda, Landlord and Landlady at the Kings Head, Kingsdown
Above is The Plough at Ripple a lovely little village just outside Deal, the pub you will find in Church Lane. Beers here for the real ale drinker includes Fullers ESB, and a number of Shephard Neame beers as well. Food is also served and accommodation is available. Above right and left are 2 shots of The Kings Head at Kingsdown, just outside Deal. You'll get a nice pint here and some wonderful food, fresh fish and curries always available. If you like malt whiskies Alex has around 20 behind the bar. Alex is the teller of some fine jokes as well.

The Magnet Deal

As you come into Deal from Sandwich on The A258 if you head down the London Road the first pub you will come to is The Magnet, this is a Shepps house. They also have a motor bike club here. The Deal Motorcycle Club meets every Thursday, and raise loads of cash for local charities. Below is Donna, the manager of The Magnet, below her is Val the Landlady and to Val's right is John the Landlord. The pub also has an Internet cafe and for just £1 you can drink and surf.

The Sportsman at Sholden
The bar at The Sportsman
Another wonderfull Kent village is Sholden, which is just off the main Deal to Sandwich Road. In this village is The Sportsman a really fine pub with loads of history to be seen once inside. The beer and food is also very good, Green King IPA and London Pride, I tasted them on my last visit and both in tip top condition.

Another fine pub around the North End of Deal is The Prince Albert. This is a very friendly and well run pub, with Guest Beers from Kent and around the country. It's also a very nice place to eat. If you are in the Deal area this is well worth a visit. Next time i pop in i'll get some photo's.
